Yoga is a calming of the fluctuations of the mind - Sutra #2, Patanjali
Niamh's interests and passions lie in nature, the arts, creative writing, psychology and lifelong learning. Like many, Niamh came to yoga through the physical practice, but it was the philosophy and inner inquiry that piqued her curiosity and inspired her to pursue teaching. Offering Hatha classes at YYOGA, Niamh completed a 200-hour hatha, flow and power training with wonderful teachers at this studio. She is also certified in YHot and Restorative yoga.
With a Master’s in Gender and Women’s Studies and a background working with marginalized communities, Niamh’s approach to yoga is deeply informed by the belief that the practice should be accessible for everyone. Yoga is a personal journey - one where every body and every experience is valid.
Niamh loves weaving breathwork and stillness into strong, intentional sequences that invite students to connect inward, explore with curiosity, and feel empowered in their bodies. Her teaching is a blend of structure and softness, and she is committed to creating inclusive classes where everyone feels welcome, seen, and capable.

What to Expect From Niamh's Classes:
"A breath-led, thoughtful practice with space to go deep, get strong, and feel a balance of effort and ease."

There is a crack - a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in.
